Big yellow digger

It's a big yellow digger.

30 seconds exposure while I walked around it popping the flash while at the same time trying not to fall into the huge hole it had dug.

It reminds me of one of those dinky toys. On the end of the digger it looks as if it's been scooping up ice cream.

We had one of of those JCB thingees left in the street one night with the keys in the ignition.....I was tempted but did the decent thing and confiscated them in case some looney decided to go for a spin....I did give them back when the boys turned up next morning.....once you've had kids you get far too responsible.....I hate it.

i live around a lot of dirt roads , and when these type of things are left hanging around , they usually get the fuel siphoned out by some-one naughty. great pic

A memory has just come back to me,it's looking at that digger. I attended Auckland Girls Grammer School and at the time there was a digger doing it's thing. I had been chucked out of class this day. I discovered I knew the driver of the digger and you guessed it I ended up on the digger. Was I in trouble? Oh,yes

Saw this image pop up on the collection page over at VFXY. I love this shot. Has a bit of a toy feel to it because of the shallow depth of field (which I really like). I'll need to try something similar sometime. Never thought about doing a long exposure shot and running around popping a flash to add more light. Good thinking.
