Why is there no dessert meats?

How come we can't have meat with dessert? Why, when we have millions of restaurants with as many chefs, have none of them ever come up with a really good dessert that has meat in them?

We all know how good trifle is. How about a pork version? What about lamb sorbet? Maybe beef biscotti with our coffee?

Anyone got any great meat puddings?

The Photo

Today I went for a fly with little Steve. We left at 1:30pm and flew to Raglan and then on to New Plymouth for a wee wee. Then over to Taupo to refuel. Next to Hamilton to scare some birds off the grass strip and then back to Ardmore.

It's some yachts on Lake Taupo. Taken from 2000 feet.

Steve is an excellent pilot. Thanks for a great afternoon, mate. I had an excellent time.

  • This is a stunning shot Dave. (Just rediscovered it!) Under the CC licence could I use selected shots of yours to create gift cards and add to powerpoint presentations etc? Full attribution to you and your blog, of course. Plus ... when's your coffee table book coming out?
