The mother-in-law is in the house
The mother-in-law arrived today at midday as expected. Somewhat surprisingly on the plane and not on a broomstick.
Gone already is the normal asian, indian, middle eastern or other exotic (excluding American of course) cuisine we normally eat. Meat and 3 vege it is for us for the next week or so until she goes home.
Corned beef that's been boiled for 8 hours, mustard sauce, boiled cabbage and mashed spud is the quintessential old persons fare.
To make matters much worse, Gabba has gone out tonight and left me with the kids and the old crone. So I'm down here hiding in my man cave, hoping she doesn't set the house on fire. Or flood it. Or cause some other catastrophe while making her 15th cup of tea.
The Photo
It's Rik at I think the 7th tee at Formosa Country Club. Shot with an SB800 on the ground camera right at about 1/4 power. And some potatoshop, of course.

One of these days she's gonna read this and then she's gonna open a can of whoop ass on you :)
Think I prefer the first photo of Rik.
