Not like a christmas tree left outside a tittie bar on the Las Vegas Strip

I briefly drove a late model Subaru today. Actually I moved the damn thing out of the way in the parking lot at the office so I could get my car out to go home.

Putting the key in the ignition, the dash lit up like a christmas tree left outside a tittie bar on the Las Vegas Strip. It was all lights and colors and flashing and bright and sizzly.

Then I got into my 19 year old BMW, to it's understated German red glow.

As you can see, there aint no sizzle there.

Not so bad hand held for 2 seconds either I reckon.

  • Outstanding title! I have to remember that line for the next time I'm at the inlaws.

  • Can I be there at your inlaws with you, just to see you fit that into a sentence?

  • Mate, of course. It would probably have to be a completely random, off the wall remark, while I am forced to watch another episode of Coronation St with them.

  • Umm, no I won't try that, it's too much like dying.

  • Classic title. Assume the handheld was resting on the sterring wheel. In any case, I agree, great shot.

  • I searched google images for "vegas christmas" and saw this photo. I just bought an '87 535is. I'm glad I saw this. Rock on, nice pic.
