On a spur of the moment decision I called a meeting of the North Shore Photo Bloggers group, and we all headed down to Port Waikato for a shoot. Unfortunately, high cloud poured in on the drive down so by the time we got there, the light was pretty crappy. Depressingly, most/all my photo's are too average to publish. And to make matters worse, I found when I got home I'd left the camera on ISO 400 from a previous session.
It wasn't a wasted trip though. I got to drive on an undulating windy road along side the Waikato River in the car on my own. Without the wife and kids in the car, there is no one to complain when I play in the car. No one to frown at me when I drop the inside wheels into the gravel at the apex. I love it when I can feel the suspension and the tires working. Happiness is the corner.
The photo is of the guy on the top of the Marae out there. I didn't take any notice of the name.
