...if you know where the buttons are.

Last night we went for a wander in Pukekura Park in New Plymouth. It was dark and spooky and definitely felt like we shouldn't have been there. I'd read about the waterfall with it's 180,000 litres of water a minute and neato night lighting in the motel so we decided to try and find it.

After stumbling about in the dark for a while we decided to head back disappointed. And then we saw some old geezers and an old crone out walking. They knew what to do. If you look in the right places, you can press the buttons and start the fountains and the waterfall lighting.

Then the park was a whole different kettle of fish as can bee seen above.

We're home safe and the house hasn't been burgled, despite the entire Internet knowing we weren't home for a week. 1800kms more on the car, 4 stone chips and a broken headlight (dammit). No speeding tickets this time. 1211 emails waiting, 890 odd declared spam, 350 deleted because they don't concern me at all. The rest kept because even though they have nothing to do with me, I'll read them on Wednesday when I'm back at work and delete them then.
