This afternoon between races at Pukekohe, we all went to the library (or liberry as Ali calls it) to fill in some time because Gabba was bored. We all went off looking for our own books, and then met back at the counter to get them issued. Sarah has her own library card so was doing it all herself. While we watched her hand over her books, we noticed one of them was titled "Lets Talk About Where Babies Come From". Gabba and I just looked at each other. I knew I had nothing to worry about as because we have daughters, it's Gabba's job to talk about the sex stuff. Actually it's also Gabba's job to answer all the God and Jesus questions too. I've got it pretty easy, with only Political and Business questions being my responsibility.

When we got home, I watched the last race of the mindnumbingly boring Aussie tracters, while Sarah sat on the floor and read the "baby" book from cover to cover. Twice. When she got to the end the second time, she closed it and jumped up on my knee, and said "Daddy?". Great, here comes one of those really difficult questions, then she said "What is Vitamin S?". She jumped down and grabbed the book and found the reference to Vitamin S. I told her to go ask her mother. Ha ha ha ha. That was the easiest sex lesson ever I bet. I'm guessing more questions will appear at some point, but for right now it's been a doddle so far.

And for those of you wondering about Vitamin S, I can help you. There is sod all information on the web about it as I found. Vitamin B11 used to be called Vitamin S. Kelp is a good source of Vitamin S. A deficiency in S causes sterility. So there ya go.
