NIKON D70 - 1/100 sec, f4.5 at 70mm

The last thing we do before bed, well, before locking the doors, brushing teeth and putting the cat out I mean, is check the giblets.

Last night I checked the littlest daughter (above) and she was fine. Perhaps a little hot, but otherwise fine. The oldest daughter could hardly been seen under the covers.

I checked her little forehead to make sure she wasn't cooking. While I was doing that, Gabba turned Sarah's stereo off. I asked why it was on and she told me that she'd put on a tape after Sarah had gone to sleep that recited the times tables over and over. I guess it was some subliminal brain washing of the times tables while Sarah was sleeping.

I don't know if it worked on Sarah, but it gave me a brilliant idea. I'm going to make and play my own tape while Gabba sleeps for the next few nights...

You want more hop ons, you want more hop ons

I'll let you know how I get on with it so that you can try it with your wife too ;-)

The Photo

It's the littlest daughter after some severe potatoshopping (11 adjustment layers I'll have you know). Her mother doesn't care for it much, but it makes me laugh, so I post it.

  • HaHa Dave, this made me laugh so hard! Wonder what message I could send Brad in his sleep? Hmmmmmm, must think that over carefully. Let me know what happens with Gabba. And I'm still amazed sometimes, though less so now than 9 years ago, at how your mind works! Have a great "hop on" weekend.

  • Ditch potatoshop & buy a sunbed. It has the same effect.

  • Have no idea what an RSS feed is.

  • Hi Nova Read this summary from the NZ Herald website. RSS lets you subscribe to the content from lots of web sites, just like mine. So instead of you visiting them every day to see if there was any updates, the updates come to you. I subscribe to the RSS feeds of 54 websites at the moment. That'd be a big job to visit them every day to see if there has been any updates. But with an RSS reader, like Google reader, the updates come to me.
