Late this afternoon I went for a drive over Paremoremo / River Head way to see if I could find anything to shoot as the sun went down.
It all turned to crap pretty soon. First the sun went behind a thick layer of cloud. Then the roads got real skinny and everytime I spied something to photo there was no where safe to park the car. Everywhere I went there was suspicious wealthy people on their lifestyle blocks with ostentatious ugly houses. All of them gave me long lingering looks like they were noting the rego plate of the car to report me to the cops for casing their monstrous, misshapen abodes. And, finally there was no sunset at all. It just went dark.
To top off an average attempt at getting some good captures , I managed to stand in a big pile of dog poo while taking the above photo. Of course I didn't realize until i got back into the car, so had to smell it all the way home. I've managed to get the revolting grogan off my Timberlands, but I'm not yet brave enough to tackle going near the accelerator and brake pedals on the car to clean them up.
Dogs are disgusting, smelly, hair shedding, slobbering, clumsy beasts that don't have a single useful feature. They are only slightly above teenage boys in intelligence and just like youth, they have to be entertained constantly.
Oh yeah. I went mad with the scanner at the office and got a whole bunch of the photo's from my junket to China in 1999 scanned.
