The magpie couple we feed have decided it's ok to come into the house to ask for food. But if we don't get there fast enough, they start wandering around the house looking for us and then can't find their way out again. Then a bit of madness ensues.

Accomplishments so far on the first day of my summer holiday...
Mowed some of the lawns until I decided I'd had enough. Maybe 20 sq metres of lawn done.
Spent some time with youngest daughter, maybe 30 minutes.
Read some of Jean-Paul Sartre's No Exit.
2 beers, 2 glasses of Chardy, 1 BBQ steak, 1 scoop of potato salad and some lettuce
Worked for about an hour for a couple of NZ's most beloved brand's online stuff
