I once went to a meeting in Wellington at the govt department Land Information. It was a relatively small office with a reception area and a buzzer and a visitors book we had to sign in on.

Every other person that had visited previously had listed their name and then all their degrees. Some had many many degrees and Masters and PHDs. I guess one person started it and everyone followed suit.

And then there was my name. With nothing. Sticking out like a sore thumb.
