There was a time when it'd take me about 5 or 10 minutes to catch up on the night's happenings on Twitter, even though I only ever followed 100 accounts.

This morning, a single tweet from the Metservice. And 9 whole hours since the previous tweet before that. I used the wonder if the world had ended if an hour would go by without any new tweets, that's how uncommon that event was.
