I spent 22 hours in the car last week.

Driving North Shore to Howick to Auckland Hospital to Howick and then back to the North Shore every day.

I have no idea how many of those hours sat stationary at sets of traffic lights, but a chunk of them.

Saw lots of people driving through red lights and almost everyone was on their phones.

And now I have one arm tanned golden brown much more than the other pasty white arm

We are going to Taranaki next weekend. Decided to go via Marokopa thanks to some crazy bastard that decided to go bush for some reason, I now know that part of the country exists.

There seems to be so many things to see and the added benefit of some roads with corners. So many gravel corners

And really looking forward to visiting the Len Lye thing at New Plymouth again too. My favourite artist.
