The thing about Christmas day is, you have to pace yourself lest you end up having to have an afternoon nap.

Set targets for every hour. This hour for me is 4 Liquorice Allsorts, 1 Heineken, 4 scorched almonds, a cheeky "taste" of the potato salad and all going well, maybe 2 or 3 of those rapsberries that are still hanging around from breakfast

And it looks like the bloody rain is arriving in maybe an hour or perhaps and hour and a half and we still have about 3 hours for the ham in the smoker

May have made a small mistake with the pacing thing.

Got given a very good bottle of tequila for Christmas so had to mix myself a margarita with it.

I am enjoying the margarita very much, but the day is still quite early
