An observation from the weekend.

We drove down to Paeroa to look at the antique and collectables / junk shops. Slightly disappointed to find there was only 5 left. Was still a pleasantly diverting few hours all the same

But was astounded at the number of shops with antiVax / antiJacinda and the like signage displayed still in such a small town. It's confounding standing in front of someone with such views

I subscribe to lots of channels on Youtube.

I think the most fascinating things are the stuff that happens off camera.

I was genuinely sad when one creator's marriage broke up after I had already been watching them for 5+ years of their boat build. She just disappeared after the announcement, which makes sense of course.

Another is on his third partner over the last 7 years. The latest one isn't yet as good in control of the camera as the others. They will get there, I guess
