I am standing, watching the toaster.

I can see my toast is almost ready to pop.

I am expecting the toaster to pop.

But then I look out the window and notice the bloody hedge looks like it needs to be trimmed again. I only did that about 5 weeks ago. I hate getting up that ladder.

Then the toaster pops and it still slightly startles me even though I knew it was about to do it
