Decided to delete Facebook (Instagram went earlier this week) due to the latest Facebook announcements. But the family uses Facebook messenger to keep in touch.

So now I need to find a replacement for all of us, otherwise I'm not going to know what the hell is going on with them.

I noticed my syslog was insanely huge every day so I've spent the morning investigating why.

Firstly Gnome Tracker3 was -vvvv verbose complaining about some corruption, so fixed that.

And Spamassasin was spazzing about DNS limits. So I changed the DNS server it was using and as a result have massively improved its spam classification. It's now 100% blocked spam for the last 4 hours.

Now to fix a bug in my news aggregator to properly handle 404s...
