We're in New Plymouth for the weekend. I'm reading my feed reader on my phone while @gabba does a bit of shopping. Because I left my shirt and her dress for the party hanging on the door still at home is why she is shopping.

I've done a terrible job of coding the mobile experience of my reader though. Embarrassing even though it's only me that sees it.

I guess I should put a bit more effort in when I get home

I think there has been a horrible mistake. The plumber only charged us $197 to fix our leaking water mains.

There are no scammy extras on the bill and it's reasonable for the work done.

I thought we were here to be squeezed by tradies.

The coastal boardwalk at New Plymouth was most pleasant this afternoon, despite what it looks like in the image. The wind was warm. The freedom camper/homeless guy we chatted to was friendly and happy. The seagulls had a rice cracker. Everything was bloody good.

The couple at the table next to us in the restaurant are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary tonight.

They have a lovely photo on their table from their wedding. We've been having a laugh together as we are a long way behind at only 32 years married.

I really expect us to still be going well for another 33 years too.
