@spudooli@pixelfed.nz I've been flicking through my father in laws Teach Yourself to Cook by Evelyne White and Jessie Watson from 1939. It is very dog eared and full of notes and additions and fat splatters. A well used cook book.
So many great recipes for Brown Stew and Dressed Tripe and Boiled Tongue (tongue and water are the only ingredients) and so many recipes for rabbit.
