I can almost hear the battery in this old iPhone screaming "Let me out, let me out".

It's amazing that while I didn't know this device was doing it best to cause damage while in the drawer, I wasn't particularly concerned. But now that I have it on my desk and have to do something with it, it's bothering me no end.
