Why the hell is dry vermouth only available in 750ml bottles, when you only use about 5ml in a good martini. And. BLOODY AND dry vermouth only lasts about 3 months before it's no good once opened..

So that's 150 martinis in a bottle of dry vermouth that have to be consumed in about 90 days. Or you are dumping/wasting dry vermouth 3 months from now having not maintained 2 martinis a day because who can do 2 martinis a day for 3 months?.

This is a very good martini here by the way.

My @gabba is flying to see the Melbourne daughters so I'm home without her for the next 6 days. I have just poured my second martini (working towards completing the bottle of Noilly Prat dry vermouth before its best before date).

About to start playing some music before I reheat the chilli she made for me for dinner.

I just found out how to download all the SMS messages that exist on my phone. some 42,600 text messages in all. I've got messages all the way back to 2014. I'm sad I don't have any earlier than that.

I am fascinated by the minutiae of the comms between @gabba and I. The tiny, when are you leaving work, things to the huge life changing things, our friends first grandchild, kinda things.

I want to find a way to publish these messages, somehow. Just between us there has been 16,993 SMS messages. Probably half of them are me asking her what's for dinner.
