We decided to cancel our subscription to Pingdom for uptime monitoring on a couple of sites, but found we couldn't do that from the my account page. We had to open a support ticket to request our account be closed.

They then asked for a phone call for our account cancellation request to be discussed. To which we asked if they really did want to speak with us on the phone so that we could tell them personally and in great detail exactly how unhappy we were that we couldn't cancel our account with just a click.

They declined and closed our account.
