We're on the North Shore. Not in Glenfield, but Glenfield adjacent, perhaps more Glenfield afar, but we need to do our bit to keep the yellow legged hornet out of Aotearoa.

So @gabba picked up a commercial wasp trap this arvo for about the same money as making one ourselves out of plastic bottles. So far we've caught half a dozen flies, but no hornets.

Come on you yellow bastards, we have snacks here
