Wow, look at this Mastodon 4.5 will all it's cool shininess.

I feel it behooves me to quote post my subtweet of last week asking when we might get an update, but here we are all up to date.

About Sept 2015 @gabba noticed an injured female magpie in the reserve behind our house so feed it some beef mince we had in the fridge. Thus starting 10 years of feeding her and her partner and their many, many offspring ever since.

They would knock on our glass sliding door on Saturday and Sunday mornings when we weren't up early enough. And if the door was open, they would come in the house looking for us. We could feed her by hand, he was a little more cautious. Sometimes they would visit 5 or 6 times a day to be fed. So much bloody beef mince and south african praying mantis' over that last 10 years

Anyway, it's been 2 weeks since we last saw them, which about 12 days longer than any other time they have not visited. I guess it doesn't look good for our magpie family
