I have 4 weeks to go for the year until I have 3 whole weeks off work. Earlier today I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, but 2 thirds in of a Friday night martini and I'm reasonably sure I can get there in one piece.

However, now is the time to start thinking about my Summer of Code project. The project where I sit at my home computers for 3 weeks and code whatever the hell I want.

Do I code Mastodon posts into my news aggregator so I see what the learned people of Mastodon think of today's news?

Or code more data analysis into our website for data that tickles me?

Or perhaps better social integration to my RSS feed reader?

Perhaps more camera/audio for the birds of our garden?

So many tasty options...

It's probably a very small victory, but it doesn't matter how much money you have, if i decide you cannot scrape my website, you will not scrape my website. Suck a fat one Elon Musk, and everyone that works for you, you giant stain on humanity.

It is my hope that for the next 1000 years history books and contemporary news reports you as a waste of hair at the very least
