This is where we went, what we listened to, tweeted, coded, blogged and spent on this day
I am not a professional developer, by any measure. But I have a strategy, that I think I could possibly share on Linked In to much acclaim from my peers.
Come home on Friday night after 5 minimum 10 hour days. That's important to share on Linked In.
Mix a margarita and get in the mood to do some coding on 1 of your 4 personal websites, while Winamp plays a carefully selected selection of Paul and Wings.
Make reasonable progress on a new feature. Go mix another margarita.
Make no forward progress on the feature that you don't know what it is now because you did not write requirements because margarita 1 got in the way
Decide to add an LLM to the mix to help, start to make forward progress again
The subsequent code review is completely impossible, second margarita is mostly finished though.
Leave a # TODO in the code somewhere with no other detail for future me
Write an excessively long mastodon post instead and try to decide if another margarita is a good idea or a bad idea
@spudooli@mastodon.nzSpeaking of Linked In.
I don't post there ever, because, Linked In...
But I have started to write the post that I will post when I retire in 79 months, 11 days at 2 pm.
It is a little sweary and I am so looking forward to it. In fact right now, I'm giggling some and rubbing my thighs in anticipation
@spudooli@mastodon.nz^^ Margarita 2 is speaking
