I love easter Sunday. It's traditionally the first Sunday roast of the year. Also the first red wine of the year, as usual Babich Irongate cab sav merlot franc. And tonight it's also dark early, daylight saving ended last night. Leaves are on the ground. Mint sauce is being found for the roast lamb. I'm about to go stir the gravy and offer advice about pepper in the gravy, only to be ignored, rightfully. The start of a new season is always good. The grind of the next 4 or 5 months not so much. But right now, everything is ok.
