I've installed https://openmaptiles.org/ tile server and maps on my home server so that I can serve my own maps to my website and kitchen dashboard.

One fewer damn Google service inside the house now and have maps without any advertising and I don't have to deal with Google's Cloud Console. So much winning!

Further to my earlier post about a bash script that deletes files or directories, I wondered how Chatgippty would handle deleting files safely in a script. It plain doesn't

in fact if you run its suggested solution without an argument, it will happily delete itself even.
