The boss just asked me where I rate Prince on a scale of 1 - 10. I think my answer may have irreparably damaged my long term prospects here.

Since I got the email that my new PC has shipped about 2 hours ago, this current PC has not kernel panicked a single time. Chrome or Thunderbird or Signal have not crashed. Gnome has also stayed running.

Too late, old PC! Much too little, too late, mate. Your power button will be held down until you stop for the last time sometime in the next 4 - 6 hours. The equivalent of being smothered with a pillow.

Not bad for a device that is used to edit very small text files and look at websites, I guess.
