I have confidently put all the PC covers on and am downloading an Ubuntu ISO. This PC will POST first time and install Ubuntu the first time.

I have preemptively handed back some of my nerd points this afternoon, having failed to make this bloody new PC work here. My personal value has dropped some today. That sometimes happens. Do not try to time the market.

But I have people at the office that know things and I'm sure they will be able to find why a bunch of parts I chose and screwed together do not POST enough for me to hit F12 to tell it to boot off the USB thingamajig.

I could have done anything else with my life. But here I am, computers still regularly kicking me solidly in the goolies to remind me of my place if the scheme of things.
