I have had just the best weekend.

I have written a lot of code and I have learned a lot of things along the way, which for someone my age is a thing. As evil as AI is, in so many ways, having a couple of LLMs running on my server here at home has been a revelation.

I changed my IDE to agent mode instead of ask mode and HOLY BLOODY SHITBALLS.

Our eldest daughter is home from Melbourne for the weekend so have been able to smash hug her whenever I have chosen to.

Last night we went out to firstmateslastlaugh.co.nz/ for dinner which was pretty good. Too peoplely by a long way. But good food. Dad (me) paid, which I think I'm starting to see a pattern now when the kids are home, we go out.

And now I'm drinking my favourite red wine with Seal on the Qobuz catching up with my mastodon people to see what they have been doing all weekend.

Roast lamb in the oven and still 4 tracks from Seal 2. Happy.
