NIKON D70 - 1/1500 sec, f5.6 at 200mm

I was looking at this post from December 2005 where I had 3 CRT monitors on my desk and a single 15" LCD panel of a 4:3 resolution I cannot remember now. Back then a photo of 640 x 425 pixels was a useful size.

With today's monitors that's way too small. My main monitor today is 4k - 3840 x 2160 pixels. I still need to figure out what size I should be posting at these days. I've opted for 1200 x whatever for the moment. Any bigger and my lack of skill and artistic ability will become way too obvious for now.

I'm heading out tonight to try some long exposure shots in preparation for getting up un Sunday morning at 3am to capture some planets and a meteor shower.

The Photo
I think it's the first photo I shot with my new lens. The Sky Tower is 22.5km from where I was sitting at Mud Brick Restaurant. It's only the second image I fiddled with in darktable. Still much to learn, clearly
