1410 metres to Bean Rock Lighthouse
NIKON D70 - 1/500 sec, f5.6 at 200mm
I think I'm done with trying to photograph things over 1km away for a bit. Or 22km away.
The next 5 photos need to be something inside 100 metres so that I have some chance of getting them sharp. A challenge has been set. Likely the next 5 will be taken with my phone :-)
The Photo
Bean Rock Lighthouse is 1410 metres from where I was standing to take this photo. Which from that vantage point it seemed it was a lot closer to Rangitoto than the map shows it actually is.
