...in the house

Yep, she's back staying with us. It seems like only yesterday since she was here last.

For the most part, I've been hiding down in my man cave, waiting until Monday rolls around and she heads back home again. We're aboutt he have a big Sunday lunch for her and one of her crazy cousins that's about to arrive, and the kids other honorary Nana, Nana Anna.

I've a good supply of good wine, so I should make it through the afternoon ;-)

Earlier, while sitting pondering if I should go up and regain control of my TV and the best seat in the living room, I've thought about what I've been doing with her daughter WHILE SHE'S IN THE HOUSE. It's not a comfortable thought. I hope the old crone hasn't wondered what we've been up to...

Oh no, the crazy cousin has arrived. I'm off to spend "quality time" with the family.

  • The photo reminds me of that movie by Alfred Hitchcock,"The Birds" I think it was called. Looks real scary!

  • My Ma reports that she went into labour with me while she was watching The Birds, I'm not sure what that exactly means.

  • yes you were in a hurry, perhaps you wanted to see the movie too. It was a double feature Hitchcock n I didn't get to see the second one.
